Hey folks, this is Alec – I’m one of the cofounders of Learners. Today I’m excited to share with you a new initiative from us, the Learners Blog.
Why this is important
There is no singular way to learn. Some of us learn better by listening, others by reading. Some of us learn better by watching, and some by doing. Some of us learn better in a group, and others still are better off learning on our own.
That’s why it’s important for us to start this blog – our first foray into written content. It’ll tie closely with the video content we produce on joinlearners.com, and we hope it will compliment the learning you do there.
On the Learners Blog, you can expect to see a few different things:
- Summaries of new talks
- Curated short-form videos from leaders in the community
- Profiles on content creators and community members
- And more – to be announced soon 🙂
And before you go, I’d also like to extend an invitation to share your insights with the Learners community. If you’ve got a case study, story, or something else you’d like to share, please reach out to me at firstname.lastname@example.org. I’d love to hear from you.
Looking forward to learning together!
Alec is a co-founder and the CEO at Learners. He’s worked as a User Researcher at Sciencescape, TWG, and North—before his time as the head of Product at Finaeo and then CEO at UXR Collective. Alec and the other Co-Founders of UXR Collective have long noticed how isolation in the UXR community made growth and connection difficult.
It’s that isolation that ultimately drove Alec and the Learners team to work towards a world with more accessible learning opportunities for everyone.
